Plan your Perfect Post Lockdown Wedding

As we slowly come out of LockDown, the Wedding Industry is being flooded with Wedding Enquiries and we are LOVING it!

Although in the spirit of Weddings, many of our clients made the decision to elope this year celebrate next year with their family and friends; and we could not be more grateful to Marry them twice per se! How exciting!!

Our couples have managed to adapt under the circumstances and were available to say “I DO” do their love, and will get to now renew their vowels next year again! It’s not every day you can say you got to get married twice *wink*

As the year continues it is definitely safe to say that Wedding Planning is back on!! HOORAY!!

Florists, Photographers, Celebrant, Planners we are at the ready to help all our wonderful clients and new clients celebrate their special day!!

Now there are a few things to consider however, post lock down as things slowly begin to re-open. Although many of us slowly return to normal, we know that other states are still in lock down and this does impact the Wedding Industry all over. Our flowers for example, have resulted in a shortage of many beautiful blooms, and it is to be expected that some flowers may not be available for all our beautiful brides. However, some easy alternative can be found via silk flowers instead.

It is also important to consider your Venue and Vendors, many are booking fast due to reschedules from 2020 Weddings which did not get to go ahead, so if you wish to book your special day for a 2021 wedding, be sure to contact your chosen Venue and Vendors as early as possible to ensure you secure them.

Alternatively we are already seeing our 2022 calendars booking up fast for many in the Industry which is absolutely amazing to see!

As I myself, recently got engaged, I have my special day already planned and booked for May 2022!!

Now a lot of bride and grooms are wondering if they should consider changing their guests list. As guest numbers have slowly began to increase, your numbers will then vary on the Venue of choice and their spacing. It is still important to remember social distancing.

What do I do about my Budget?

You may find that in the current situations, many Vendors will offer amazing offers and disocunts, in turn allowing more flexibility in your Budget. In saying this, do also consider their time and the impact this has had on the Wedding Industry. Although you should always consider the best offer and deal you can receive, keep in mind that many costs and expenses have gone up for suppliers such as Flowers, Produce ect.. due to the Import/Export Industry.

Consider all Options.

Remember that in this time, any sickness is considered a red flat for large events. Maybe consider adding a side note on your Invitations which may allow you guests to be aware that if they get sick of suffer any cold and flu symptoms prior to your event, you would prefer them not to attend or advise you prior in order to make appropriate decisions. It is your special day after all.

Whilst, our border reopened carefully, we may have to consider that Destination Weddings may be on hold for the time being. However, do not fear, who says you can’t do a Destination Vowel Renewal?!

Although International borders are closed, we have been working behind the scenes with our amazing group of Vendors, to organise packages for Destinations such as France, New Zealand and New Caledonia!!

Stay tuned next year as we release more information!
